Your insurance coverage is a contract between you, your employer (for employer provided plans) and your insurance company. Since there are so many variations within each insurance plan and we cannot know the details of your specific plan, it is YOUR responsibility to check with your insurance carrier to confirm that Dr. Spitzer is participating with your plan. These are the insurance carriers that we generally participate with but even some of these may have some policies (such as Obamacare plans) or some conditions (such as colposcopy) that they do not cover. Other plans have a very large deductible or coinsurance. Check with your insurance carrier BEFORE your visit. Patients who are covered by plans that we do not participate with will be seen as self-pay patients.
