Women with vestibulodynia (VVS) often suffer from sexual problems including low desire (poor libido), difficult arousal (poor natural lubrication) and lack of an orgasm. This can cause significant distress to both the woman and her partner. Sexual and couples counseling not only helps with intimacy but may often reduce pain. It is also helpful to find non-painful ways to express sexuality and intimacy.
